Social Science- Intro to Criminal Justice

With my Social Science credits already met, I chose to study Intro to Criminal Justice as an elective credit.

In our criminal justice class, we were assigned a research paper on the subject, "Do Police Officers Need a College Education?" 

I found the interworking of the Criminal Justice System very detailed and complicated, built on a strong foundation to protect and serve.  Below are my thoughts and findings on this subject, the answer was not as set in stone as i originally believed it to be.   Many precincts have different standards on the education of their police officers.  The most prevalent information i found was that even though it is not a definite yes or no to the above question,  as the time passes- it has become more sought after to have a college education to become an officer.
